The Town Clerk licenses liquor establishments, prepares, publishes, and mails all public notices, records Town Council and Planning Commission minutes, prepares proclamations, attests to the validity of all public Town documents, maintains the Town’s official documents, ordinances and resolutions, provides public access for review of Town records, conducts all municipal elections and serves as the filing officer for all campaign and conflict of interest disclosure statements. The Town Clerk is also responsible for receptionist and customer service duties, utility billing, sales tax licensing and processing of building permits.
The Administration Department is located in the Hayden Town Hall at 178 West Jefferson Avenue. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Town Hall can be reached at 970-276-3741.
