Recreation Board

 The Hayden Recreation Board helps plan, direct develop and implement recreation activities and events to assist in promoting long-range programs for the development of the Town’s recreation system for youth, adults and senior citizens. The HPR Board works in cooperation with staff to achieve an ample diversity of recreation activities to meet established goals and objectives. Some current programs and events include peewee wrestling, baseball, softball, basketball, Toddler Open Gym, stokes gulch moto-x, Cog Run, Hayden Daze, Easter egg hunt, Harvest Festival, and It’s Summer Somewhere.

The board meets the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm at the Town Hall. They are a working board made up of seven volunteers that reside within the town limits of Hayden.  The Town of  Hayden Recreation Department office is located in the Town Hall at 178 West Jefferson Ave. The office is staffed part-time and on a flexible schedule based upon the needs of current programs and activities.

Recreation Coordinator:  The Recreation Coordinator works in cooperation with the Hayden Recreation Board in developing, planning, and implementing recreation and social programs for the community long with scheduling parks.

Hayden Recreation Board
The Hayden Recreation Board is a 7 member board that meets the second Wednesday of each month, 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall.   The volunteer board has had great success in developing recreation programs and events for the community.
