2018 Voter Information & Resources

The November 6, 2018 General Election will be an all mail ballot election. The Town of Hayden participates as a political subdivision in a coordinated election with the Routt County Election Officials. Ballots will be mailed to all eligible voters the week of October 15th 2018.

Anyone wanting to register to vote or change voter registration information may do so by going in to the County Clerk’s office at 522 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs during the business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, or go to www.govotecolorado.com or click here.

To check your voter registration you may go to the above website or call the Elections Office at 970-870-5558 or 1-800-870-5418.

2018 Hayden Town Council Election: Candidate Information

The Town of Hayden will have four (4) Town Council seats up for election this fall. Candidates have until August 27 to submit petitions to be on the November 6, 2018 ballot.

Town elections and candidates are subject to the provisions of the Fair Campaign Practices Act. A copy of the Fair Campaign Practices Act and forms for filing reports can be found here on the Colorado Secretary of State website.

If you are interested in serving your community as a Town of Hayden Councilmember or Mayor, please pick up a complete packet at Town Hall starting August 7, 2018. Deadline to submit Monday, August 27, 2018.
